The lid to the dispenser has an inlaid sealing ring, which helps maintain the internal beverage at its temperature (either hot or cold) for more than 4 hours.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Be sure to wipe down the inside of the container when done, and do not leave liquid in the container for more than 24 hours; the dispenser should be fully emptied out when not used, and any residual liquid should be drained or physically wiped out.
