Introducing Nintendo Switch, the new home video game system from Nintendo. In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system can be taken on the go so players can enjoy a full home console experience anytime, anywhere. The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system, with unprecedented new play styles brought to life by the two new Joy-Con controllers.

COMPONENTS

When you reserve this item, you are reserving our Nintendo Switch, along with all of our accessories for the Nintendo Switch; this is the default Nintendo Switch package, and we don't mix and match per individual needs—you simply get everything, whether or not you need it all. All of the components are packaged in two small carrying cases.

  • Main Nintendo Switch Unit (1): Nintendo Switch Dock, Nintendo Switch Console, L and R Joy-Cons, L and R Joy-Con Straps, an AC Adapter, and an HDMI Cable
  • Joint Joy-Con Grip (1): The Comfort Grip brings the left and right Joy-Con Controllers together to make one comfortable controller, so you can play as long as you like. Ergonomic, rubber grips will keep your palms happy and your fingers from cramping at home or on-the-go. Simply slide each Joy-Con Controller down the rails until they click, and view the player indicator lights through the front.
  • Single Joy-Con Grips (2): These individual hand grips surround one Joy-Con and "convert" your Joy-Cons into an XBox-like controller form. L and R triggers are included on the grips.
  • Backing Stand (1): An improvement over the included kickstand on the Nintendo Switch, this separate unit allows you to stand your Nintendo Switch on a table at 30, 50, and 60 degree angles.
  • Steering Wheels (2): Your Joy-Cons slide right into these units, converting your Joy-Con into a steering wheel that is perfect for play with Mario Kart and other racing games.
  • Additional Joy-Cons (6): In addition to the main two Joy-Cons that come with the primary Switch unit, we have six additional and separate Joy-Cons, each part of a L&R set (three sets of two Joy-Cons, for six total). Two sets are yellow, while one set is gray.
  • Joy-Con Charging Stations (2): Each charging station is capable of charging four Joy-Cons.

Currently, we own three physical game cartridges, which all come with the Nintendo Switch:

SPECIAL USE INSTRUCTIONS

  • The Switch comes with one user by default, titled "RHA." This user should never be deleted and should be the default user that all renters use. Renters may, if needed, create additional users that may be linked to separate Nintendo accounts. Prior to returning the Nintendo Switch to the Resource Room, all non-RHA accounts should be signed out of and all non-RHA users should be deleted.
  • The Switch comes in a protective case. The protective case should not be removed, unless necessary for gameplay. Once gameplay is over, the Switch should be put back in its protective case.
  • The Switch should be connected to the GTOther Wi-Fi; the device is registered via OIT to our organization's Advisor.
  • No games should be purchased for the Nintendo Switch via the online game store. Any and all requests for new games should be directed to RHA's Resource Room Manager.
